Your grade will be based on mastery of skills and standards, not on volume of work. This class will focus on learning, not the accumulation of points. Throughout each unit you will be compiling evidence that exemplifies your level of learning under each standard/skill. At the end of the semester, you will present your evidence in a meeting with Tucker and Neto to negotiate the grade that represents your level of competency.
As students assess their own performance and development in relation to each skill, they will be using the following 4 point scale to identify where they are at in terms of their mastery of that skill.
